Join the race to 21 in this thrilling live dealer game. And with a number of bonus side bets to choose from, Signature Live Blackjack is ready and waiting to deliver excitement in real time.
You play this game with 8 regular 52-card decks. Here are the values of each card:
You receive a single card, dealt face-up, once betting time runs out.
Blackjack
You win a blackjack if your hand value is exactly 21. If you win, you’ll receive a prize that’s worth 1.5x your initial bet.
Insurance
You can only buy insurance if the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace.
With insurance, you can protect your bet against the possibility that the dealer has a blackjack.
If the dealer does end up having a blackjack and you chose to insure your bet, it is paid out at 2:1.
If they don’t, the game will carry on as normal.
If both you and the dealer have a blackjack, you’ll get back your stake in what’s known as a “push.”
Insurance costs half your original stake – these bets are settled individually.
Double Down
Double down on your initial two cards, and in doing so double your stake. If you choose this option, you’ll receive just one more card.
If you’ve chosen to split your hand, the Double Down option will not be available.
Hit
Add another card to your hand by choosing Hit. You can do this until your hand value exceeds 21 (which is known as a “bust.”)
Stand
If you do not want any more cards, choose to Stand.
Split
You can split your first two cards if they’re of the same value. Doing so will create two separate hands.
Each hand is deemed a separate bet – both of them have the same stake amount as your original bet.
You’ll receive another card for each hand. It’s up to you whether you want either hand to receive more cards.
If the cards you choose to split are Aces, however, you can only receive one extra card per hand.
You can’t split any hand more than once.
Outcome
If your hand exceeds 21, it’s a bust.
Once every played has played their hands, the dealer will show their second card.
They will then have to:
Your hand must be closer to 21 than the dealer’s for you to win. It’s possible for the dealer to also go bust.
A blackjack made up of an Ace and a 10 will win out against a hand equaling 21 with 3 cards. It also wins out against a hand that equals 21 from a split pair.
Side Bets
A choice of side bets is available in Signature Live Blackjack. You can pair these with your main bet.
Perfect Pairs
With this bet, you wager on whether your first two cards will be a pair, like two Queens.
There are three different sets of pairs to choose from – each one has a different payout ratio.
Mixed Pair: Different suits but the same value, like a 9 of Hearts and a 9 of Spades; pays out at 6:1
Coloured Pair: Different suits but the same colour, like a red 3 of Diamonds and a red 3 of Hearts; pays out at 12:1
Perfect Pair: Same suit and value, like 2 Kings of Hearts; pays out at 25:1
21+3 Side Bet
Win this side bet by creating one of the following hands with your first two cards and the dealer’s face-up card:
Each one of these hands has its own payout ratio. These are as follows:
21+3 Payout Ratios
Flush - 5:1
Straight - 10:1
Three of a Kind - 30:1
Straight Flush - 40:1
Suited Trips - 100:1
Bet Behind
Use this option to bet on another player’s hand – you'll then share the outcome of the bet with them.
The payout ratios for a Bet Behind wager are the same as the normal bets, and you can place them on any active Bet Behind spot before betting time runs out.
If the player you’d like to place a Bet Behind wager on decides not to play in that round, you’ll get your stake back.
You’ll see player nicknames on each seat, and you’ll be able to see who makes decisions during that round.
It’s still possible to place insurance bets if the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace.
If the player you’ve chosen to bet behind doubles down or splits, you’re able to double your wager.
You won’t be able to choose Bet Behind for your own hand, and you can’t stop others from betting behind you either.
Hot Player
The player with the longest winning streak at the table will be identified by the Hot Player icon. You’ll see a gold medal above their nickname as well as the number of their consecutive winning rounds.
This medal disappears if the Hot Player loses a round.
