Baccarat

Use your instincts to predict who you think will have the winning hand in this timeless casino classic.

    Baccarat - Game Information

Welcome to Baccarat. Your aim? Bet on the outcome of a game between the player and the banker.

Whoever's hand gets closest to 9 wins.

You can bet on the player, the banker, or a tie – or on any combination on those three options.

    Card values

The cards in Baccarat have certain values:

    - 10, Jack, Queen, and King cards all have the value of 0.

    - 2-9 cards have the same value they show.

    - Aces have a value of 1.

If two cards have a combined value that exceeds 10, only the second digit is considered. So, a value of 15 formed by a 9 and 6 would instead be a 5.

Because of this, combined values of 10 and 20 are considered as 0.

    How to bet

Select a chip size. You can choose from $1, $5, $25, $100, and $500 bet sizes. Click a chip to select it.

Place a bet by clicking a chip and clicking inside a bet box.

Remove the last chip you placed by clicking Undo.

Clear all bets from the table by clicking Clear Bets.

Start the game by hitting Deal.

Place the same bet again by selecting Rebet.

    How the cards are dealt

Both the player and the banker receive two cards at the start of the game.

If either hand totals 8 or 9, it's considered "natural" and both hands stand automatically.

If the player's hand is 5 or less, they receive another card.

Should the player not draw a third card, the banker stands on any score that is 6 or greater.

    Payouts

Here are the payout ratios for certain bets:

Bet on the player and player wins - 1:1

Bet on the banker and the banker wins: 1:1 (minus 5% commission)

Bet on a successful tie: 8:1

    Minimum/Maximum Bets

The minimum bet for the player and the banker is $1. The maximum bet is $500.

The minimum bet on a tie is $1. The maximum bet is $100.
